Host Families

All host families are carefully selected, for the most part from the faculty or research staff of local universities. Each family has received positive references from guests.
The host family will be matched with you by language (English, French, German, Italian or Russian, if you know or want to study Russian), age, and preferences about smoking, pets, or children on request.
Your hosts will help you in planning your stay, calling museums and services, orientation and ticket purchase.
We will be ready to advise you your hosts' names, address(es) and phone number(s) twenty days before your arrival.

Accommodation

You will have separate bedroom(s) in your hosts' private apartment.
As many as four people, coming together can be accommodated in two twin or double bedrooms of the same apartment.
There will be no other guests in the apartment on request.
Bathroom and toilet facilities are shared with your hosts. If you still need a separate bathroom, please rent an apartment .

Basic programs

HOFA offers 8 types of homestay programs, varying in service combination and cost: from budget Bed without Breakfast (separate bedroom and English-speaking host) to 8 day Packages all included.
Discounts are offered for long (more than 7 nights) stays with the same host family. Please write us for more details.
