Host Families Association (HOFA) was established in 1990 as a homestay business by faculty of several universities in St.Petersburg.

Since that time, HOFA has hosted hundreds of guests from America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. References from recent HOFA guests are available on request.

Many well known guide books (the Lonely Planet, Let's Go, Rough Guide and other), the Internet , and other media have information on HOFA.
